JOMEIDA UAB transports partial truck load (LTL) freight by road in Western Europe with its own trucks. In the company’s business strategy, partial truck load freight does not occupy the main traffic of road transport, but this does not mean that we perform this service to a poor standard. On regular routes, which usually run on the roads of the Benelux, France and Germany, the company can ensure that the transport is carried out in a timely manner, in accordance with all requirements, in compliance with all transport rules.
As the cargo transported in LTL does not take up all the space in the truck or semi-trailer, we combine them with other cargo and construct the appropriate route. The company’s experienced logistics specialists, together with long-distance drivers, ensure that the transportation of partial truck loads entrusted by the Clients will be carried out smoothly and on time.
We collect partial cargoes directly or via terminals of the partners in all European Union Member States and EEA countries, the geography is wide: from the northern part of the company, the transport routes of the company stretch on the roads of Central and Southern Europe to the mainland of Italy, Portugal and Spain.
JOMEIDA can offer partial cargo transportation on regular routes in many European countries at competitive, customer-friendly prices. Because the transportation of partial truck loads requires accuracy, accurate cargo measurements are very important to calculate the price of partial loads.
By default, road transport counts:
- 1 Euro pallet (EPAL) – 1200 × 800 mm, up to 740 kg – 0.4 LDM (loading meter)
- 1 Finnish or industrial pallet – 1200 x 1000 mm, up to 925 kg – 0.5 LDM (loading meter)
- 1 cbm equates to 333 kg
- 1 loading meter (LDM) – 1850 kg.
Partial cargo transportation is characterized by the fact that a higher parameter is always used to calculate the transportation price.
